Warm Drinks, Warm Hearts

For more than 20 years, Buffalo has been my home. Since 2020, I have witnessed the compassion of community organizations and volunteers coming together to support our neighbors experiencing homelessness.

As the founder of Biyo Hope Foundation, this mission is deeply personal to me. Having survived the hardships of war, displacement, and hunger, I understand how meaningful a little kindness can be during difficult times.

We are especially grateful to Pastor Scott and the Buffalo Dream Center for their warm welcome, generosity, and willingness to make space for Biyo Hope Foundation to join this meaningful community outreach. Their kindness reminds us that when people come together with compassion, we can create a stronger, more caring community.

Through this outreach, we will share hot chocolate and traditional Somali coffee with individuals experiencing homelessness, offering not only warm drinks but also kindness, dignity, connection, and hope.

Biyo Hope Foundation believes that meaningful change begins at home. Rooted in Buffalo, we are committed to serving our local community while building a vision of compassion and humanitarian support that can reach communities around the world.

Sometimes, a simple cup of coffee can be the beginning of something much bigger. This is where our journey begins.
