Water & climate

A changing climate. A growing need for safe water.

Water insecurity in Somalia is also a climate-resilience challenge. The UNEP and World Bank reporting above connects climate change with the need to adapt water systems. Drought can reduce available water, while floods can damage supplies and threaten water safety. Conflict, poverty, and infrastructure gaps also shape who can access safe water — climate is part of the story, not the only cause. These pressures are felt by communities across Africa.
